Sennheiser and elEFANTE bring the Mediterranean to Shanghai

CHINA: Sennheiser supplied the audio equipment for the recent elEFANTE Mediterranean cruise theme party in Shanghai. The manufacturer supplied wired and wireless mics for the event, along with K-Array speakers as well as providing headphones as prizes for the lucky draw.
The event for 500 people aimed to celebrate the best of the Mediterranean with food, drink and music. Musical acts for the day that included DJ Amar, DJ Matteo and DJ Costef as well as groups Kuzu and Roberto Zayas band.
‘Here we go again at another fantastic elEFANTE party here in Shanghai. Of course, we’re using Sennheiser microphones, wired and wireless, and powered by K-array speakers for the musicians,’ said Marc Vincent, president of Sennheiser, Greater China. ‘It started to rain so we had to stop the live performance but the speakers are still going in this storm. We wanted pay homage to the sounds of Ibiza and Istanbul and so we decided to make this a uniquely DJ event with some live performances,’ he explained. ‘It was a totally unique experience and amazing performances by all the musicians and DJs today, and people are still standing outside in the rain partying.’
