Sennheiser Asia collaborates with L-Acoustics for Philippines training

PHILIPPINES: Sennheiser Electronics Asia Pte Ltd recently collaborated with L-Acoustics to provide product training in the Philippines, with the aim of providing existing rental partners with the skills to optimise the performance of the speakers.
Local music industry distributor, Audio-Video Solution Corporation nominated several technicians and engineers to attend the training at its offices. The focus of the training was on Kudo, LA Network Manager software, as well as the 3D sound design program, Soundvision.
‘I’m delighted that Sennheiser and L-Acoustics could come together to provide this training,’ enthused Victor Tan, head of integrated systems at Sennheiser Asia. ‘We place great importance on training because it significantly improves the user’s knowledge and enhances the speakers’ performance. It also helps us to understand the customer’s requirements for us to serve them better.’
L-Acoustics’ trainer Alvin Koh conducted the session, where attendees were given an in-depth overview of the brand’s technology and techniques for applications. Guests were also taught how to rig the speakers for live sound applications and were instructed on the best ways to achieve optimal sound coverage by using Soundvision software.
The training certified the local distributor/rental company, AVSC as a Kudo user.
