Sennheiser equips Paulaner Bräuhaus restaurant for Oktoberfest

CHINA: Sennheiser provided the Beijing-based Paulaner Bräuhaus restaurant with a sound reinforcement system for its annual Oktoberfest folk festival. Sennheiser is a partner of the venue (regarding audio installations), and supplied a number of Evolution G3 microphones as well as K-array loudspeakers for the 17-day event.

Reportedly attracting over 400 guests each day, the folk festival featured German cuisine, Bavarian beer, as well as traditional performances from the Donautal Duo, Gardimax and the Munich Showgirls.

A pair of K-array KK200 monitors and four sets of KL12 subwoofers were chosen to support the restaurant’s main stage, and were chosen to blend into the venue’s aesthetics. Meanwhile, KK50 array speaker elements and KU36 subwoofers were placed along the sides of the room, while KT20 loudspeakers were selected for use in the venue’s garden. Sennheiser Evolution G3 wired and wireless microphones were used for all bands and vocals.

The Paulaner Bräuhaus has hosted its own unique version of the Bavaraian festival since 1993. The Sennheiser logo was used on all backdrops and promotional material for the event.
