Sennheiser goes back to the 1920s at Rotary Ball

CHINA: Sennheiser provided the professional audio support for the recent
Rotary Ball at Beijing’s The Four Seasons Hotel, where the theme was dedicated to the 1920s. The ball is said to be one of the biggest parties on the Beijing events circuit and acts as an international charity held to raise money for a variety of community projects in China.

The event marked 90 years since the Rotary was first set up as the ‘Peking Rotary Club’, and was attended by more than 450 guests. Sennheiser provided microphone and speaker equipment for the hotel’s Opus Lounge, including two pairs of KR402 K-array speakers for the main ballroom and one pair of KR202 K-array speakers in the foyer area.

As part of the event’s silent auction, Sennheiser offered a set of Momentum headphones and a HD205, with additional HD205 and HD558 headphones for lucky draw prizes.

‘We are very fortunate to have jobs, careers and a great quality of life, and participating in the Rotary Club’s charity event was a special event for us,’ said Marc Vincent, president of Sennheiser, Greater China. ‘Sennheiser has supported various causes through the years and being a part of this amazing group of altruistic guests was momentous for us.’
