Sennheiser Hong Kong supports Hanjin concert

CHINA: A December concert by Hong Kong-based songwriter, record producer and renowned jazz singer Hanjin Tan saw a wealth of Sennheiser and Neumann microphones used at the Lee Shau Kee School of Creativity, located in the Lok Fu district of the city.

Originally born and raised in Singapore, Hanjin now resides in Hong Kong and has become one of the region’s leading musical talents as well as a popular television personality. The Lee Shau Kee School of Creativity concert was attended by an exclusive audience of 200 people, whilst Sennheiser Hong Kong supplied the microphones.

Among the models used was a Neumann KMS 105 for Hanjin’s vocals, while an MK 4 was deployed his guitar pick-up. Elsewhere, MKH 8040 evolution wired microphones and Neumann KM 184s were used to pick up the band. For monitoring, meanwhile, the artist used Sennheiser’s new EW 300 in-ear monitoring system plus IE 80 earphones, while his drummer used HD 25 II closed-cup earphones.

Sennheiser MKH 416 shotgun microphones were also used at the event to capture audience noise.
