Sennheiser promotes Eric Denise to VP of sales for APAC

ASIA: Sennheiser has promoted Eric Denise to become its new vice president of sales for APAC, including Asia, Australia, Greater China, Japan, and India. The appointment – effective as of January 1st 2012 – comes as part of a major restructuring process in which the microphone manufacturer has reorganised its sales operations into three key regions: The Americas, EMEA, and APAC.

Mr Denise was previously president of Sennheiser France for eight years, a period in which the subsidiary is reported as having contributed a significant portion of Sennheiser’s global business, achieving record sales numbers. His new position is described by the manufacturer as ‘a more corporate role’.

‘Eric comes with an excellent track record and is well equipped for his new assignment,’ commented Volker Bartels, speaker of Sennheiser's Executive Management Board and president of corporate services. ‘I’d like to congratulate him on his well-deserved appointment, which again supports our strategy for the upcoming years. He will help us implement our premium strategy, with a particular focus on each of our three business divisions and give a significant positive impulse for business in the Asia Pacific markets.’

According to Sennheiser, the restructuring program that prompted Mr Denise’s promotion is intended to ‘improve customer focus and market knowledge’.
