Sennheiser sponsors stage at Shanghai F1 Grand Prix

CHINA: The Sennheiser Group sponsored the Sennheiser Live Stage area at the recent Formula 1 Chinese Grand Prix by providing the entire audio setup and stage equipment. Held at the Shanghai International Circuit, the three-day event attracted over 190,000 spectators.
Sennheiser also organised the performances for an array of local and international talent. Performers included Lions of Puxi, Noukilla, The Word, A Bu’s Jazz Trio, Meachie Day & Band, DJ Jamaster A, Voodoo and Tinho & Veri.
Sennheiser provided 10 sets of headphones to give away during a lucky draw that included the HD219, HD439, PX100-II, MX 685 and HD25, respectively. As part of Sennheiser’s relationship with Red Bull Infiniti, the microphone manufacturer also showcased a series of products within the Red Bull VIP Lounge that allowed guests to interact with the products. Sennheiser also set up iPads featuring the Blue Stage app, which showcased the artists of today, brand ambassadors as well as the Red Bull Team.
‘We showcased our high-end headphones and the exclusive edition Momentum RBR which was designed specifically for the Red Bull Racing team,’ said Marc Vincent, president of Sennheiser, Greater China. ‘With 40,000 people walking by this stage area at any given time, it’s an incredible honour to be part of the F1 races for Sennheiser. As a race fan, all I want to do now is to head over to the paddock and checkout Vettel and Webber’s cars!’
