CHINA: Sennheiser once again supported The German Ball in China through the provision of entertainment and professional audio equipment and crew. The prestigious German Ball in Beijing was held at the Kempinski Hotel Lufthansa Center and saw guests enjoy a range of performances with a 1920s theme, while the Shanghai event was held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel’s Crystal and Grand ballrooms.
Sennheiser provided a complete sound system that featured not only microphones and headsets but also K-array loudspeakers, including KR402, KR202 and KR102 cabinets.
Sennheiser also brought a support crew from both the Hong Kong and China offices to set up, manage the run of equipment and do the tear down. The manufacturer also flew in DJ Stefano to perform for the guests in Beijing and sponsored custom Sennheiser motif wallets as part of the guests’ door gifts for attendees in both cities.
For the Shanghai ball, Sennheiser again provided a series of high end products for the evening’s lucky draw. These comprised of HD 465, CXL 300 Black, MX 85 Sports II and the RS 220 headphones.
‘It’s a real pleasure for Sennheiser to be participants and sponsors at the annual German Ball organised by the German Chamber of Commerce here in China,’ said Marc Vincent, president of Sennheiser, Greater China. ‘Sennheiser is very active in China and we work closely with many participants here for various installations and project, therefore spending two evenings out of a year in the company of business associates and friends to celebrate German heritage and acknowledge our Chinese counterparts’ support makes this a must-do event for us.’
