CHINA: Sennheiser provided the complete audio system set up for the recent Wine & Dine Hong Kong at the New Central Harbourfront.
The four-day event attracted a total of 140,000 people, who came to enjoy a number of wines from around the globe, as well as sample culinary creations by both local and international chefs.
As part of Sennheiser’s sponsorship, the brand provided the complete audio system for all musical acts. ‘For the main stage, we used six channels of 2000 series wireless handheld units with 935 heads and three channel 5000 series wireless handhelds with KK-105 heads for the vocals,’ said a Sennheiser China representative.
‘We also provided an eight channel 2000 series wireless IEM system, an e908B with ew-300 wireless system for saxophones, and on the drums sets we used e904s for all racks, e901s for kick-in and e902s for kick-out. All guitars used e906s, and two Neumann KM184s were used on some wind instruments. In fact, the monitor engineer said the e908’s sound was perfect on the sax and that he loved it.’
Sennheiser also showcased its Momentum video on the screen of the main stage. A total of six Momentum on-ear headphones were given away each day at a lucky draw.
