Sennheiser’s Sound Impression goes to New Delhi

INDIA: Sennheiser Electronics India Private Ltd recently conducted a Sound Impression session at the Leela Palace Hotel, New Delhi. Over 200 system integrators, AVSI consultants, architects and sound rental companies from all over India participated in the day-long session that included live demonstrations, product training, and interactive sessions led by the global president of integrated systems at Sennheiser, Peter Claussen.

The focus of the session was on a range of Sennheiser’s popular installed sound products catering to the corporate sector, educational institutes, hospitality, museums, art galleries, houses of worship and live concerts. Products from Apart Audio and L-Acoustics were also on display.

‘Globally the pro A/V market is over US$70 billion and the figures in Asia are also looking great with India leading at CAGR of 25 per cent,’ stated Mr Claussen. ‘This growth has been triggered by tremendous growth in infrastructural development and this in turn gives rise to the need for effective and customised audio solutions. Sennheiser is known for being an innovator and we want to aid this growth by providing the best audio solutions – keeping in mind the needs of the consumer. At the core of Sennheiser’s integrated systems is ease of use, invisibility and total cost of ownership.’

‘With the Sound Impression at New Delhi, we aimed at reaching out to as many system integrators from India to engage in a lively discussion with Peter Claussen,’ added Gunjan Srivastava, MD, Sennheiser Electronics India. ‘He visited India due to the favourable growth opportunities in the installed sound sector in the country and to reiterate our focus in this growing segment.’

‘The installed sound business at Sennheiser forms an integral part of our future growth plans in India,’ said Vipin Pungalia, VP, sales and marketing, professional segment. ‘We are extremely happy with the great response we have received from Sound Impression in Delhi and other parts of India. Conducting such interactive sessions for audio specialists forms an integral part of our growth plans. I am sure this trend will only continue over the next few years as we witness the growing demand for pro audio solutions in the country.’
