Shirahama Adventure Land upgrades with One Systems

JAPAN: Shirahama Adventure Land in Osaka City recently upgraded its facility with a new sound system from One Systems. The manufacturer’s Japanese distributor M and N Co Ltd designed the system, whilst Toyo Giken Co Ltd installed the 106IM and 103IM speakers into the 1,000,000 sq-m amusement park.
Along with housing over 140 wild animals, providing petting zoos and featuring various performances throughout the day, Shirahama Adventure Land also offers roller coaster rides, a ferris wheel and water slides.
For the audio upgrade, the park’s manager and maintenance supervisor, Tadashi Kato wanted a sound system that would cover the entire main gate area, and had to be ‘powerful, intelligible, and fully weatherproof’. Working closely with Mr Kato, M and N Co recommended One Systems speakers, and selected 103IM and 106IM models for all poles and outdoor wall areas using One Systems brackets and other suspension hardware.
‘The placement and output strength of the new system now fills the entire main gate area with clear speech and music,’ commented Masaki Morimoto, president of M and N. ‘These speakers really have the power to cut through the daily crowd noise. The client is very pleased with the results and commented favourably on the high intelligibility and wide frequency response.’
