Shure Axient launched in India by Reynolds Sound amp Lighting Services

INDIA: Reynolds Sound & Lighting Services recently purchased a number of Shure’s Axient wireless systems from Sun Infonet, reportedly making the rental company the first in India to invest in the equipment.

Reynolds Sound & Lighting Services’ entire purchase comprised a number of AXT400A dual channel receivers, AXT100-L3 bodypack transmitters, AXT200 handheld transmitters with SM58 wireless heads, AXT600 spectrum managers, AXT610 ShowLink access points, AXT620 ethernet switches, AXT903 portable bodypack charging stations and AXT904 handheld charging stations, as well as a number of UA860SWB antennas.

‘We have been using Shure for over 20 years now, it's a tried and tested product,' said Felix Remedios, managing director at Reynolds Sound & Lighting Services. The company intends to use the new wireless equipment for corporate events, international concerts and award ceremonies, amongst a range of other applications. ‘We just tried a demo of the systems and they sound and perform amazingly well,’ Mr Remedios enthused. ‘Additionally, Shure’s Indian distributor Sun Infonet has the best after sales service and gives us world class support.’

‘The Axient system is sure to become very popular with large rental companies worldwide, including India,’ commented Sun Infonet director Neeraj Chandra. ‘I anticipate that more companies will order from this product range.’

Reynold Sound has over 250 Shure microphones in its inventory, including over 100 wireless models, and Mr Remedios asserted that ‘we intend to keep buying and growing with Shure’.
