Sound Workshop purchases Meyer Sound monitors

AUSTRALIA: Canberra-based Sound Workshop has added four Meyer Sound MJF-210 stage monitors to its inventory of rental equipment.
‘The problem has been finding something that delivers the same audio performance, reliability, acceptance and ease of use that all our other Meyer products provide. As soon as we heard the new MJF-210, we knew that our search was over and that it was time to invest,’ remarked Tony Brighton, Sound Workshop managing director. ‘From what I’ve heard from other Meyer-related sources around we’re not the only ones to recognise the potential of this product either, but we’re very pleased to put these amazing new monitors into our rental inventory.’
Designed in collaboration with Metallica to produce a high-output stage speaker capable of withstanding the demanding rigours of touring as well matching the bands sonic expectations, the MJF-210 contains two 10-inch LF transducers and a 4-inch diaphragm compression driver mounted on a 50-degrees by 70-degrees (H x V) constant directivity horn. It is also the lightest stage monitors in the manufacturer’s range.
