Soundcraft desks aid Jiangsu TV dating show

CHINA: Jiangsu TV has placed two Soundcraft digital consoles at the heart of its new eight channel and four channel HD EFP systems following an open tender process. The consoles were supplied by Harman Professional distributor Advanced Communication Equipment (ACE).
The new eight channel system, used principally for the production of highly-rated Nanjing-based dating show If You Are the One, now boasts a Soundcraft Vi6 connected via fibre to two Compact Stageboxes. The four channel system is using a Vi1 console, which is also connected via fibre to the Vi6.
While If You Are the One is currently recorded in Nanjing, the broadcaster is reportedly intending to use the EFP systems to shift production to Beijing. The purchase follows a similar deal two years ago which saw Jiangsu TV acquire a Studer Vista 8 and a Soundcraft Vi6, also from ACE.
