Soundforce to host Korean Sound Industry seminars

KOREA: South Korean non-profit sound educational company Soundforce (SAFO) is to hold a series of seminars exploring the Korean Sound Industry. With a total of six seminars planned, and with two taking place each year, the programme is currently set to continue until 2016.
The opening seminar is titled A Talk about the Korean Sound Industry – Chapter One, and will take place at the LG Art Centre in Seoul on the 14th July 2014. Topics will include the discussion of past, present and future acoustical practices in the country with accompanying talks from the centre’s general manager Park Young Chul and the president of ASC Standard Chang Ki Man. The session is intended for SAFO members, sound engineers and audio industry businessmen, and spaces are limited to 30 attendees. Following the speeches a tour will be conducted of the centre.
