StageCraft International to represent Genelec in the Philippines

PHILIPPINES: Finnish monitor specialist Genelec has appointed StageCraft International as its new exclusive distributor in the Philippines. A recent visit to the territory by the manufacturer’s senior broadcast applications manager Lars-Olof Janflod marked the fulfilment of the deal as he met with StageCraft president Francisco N Zabala.
‘I am very pleased with this appointment, with StageCraft representing us in the Philippines,’ enthused Mr Janflod. ‘I met with Frankie on my very first trip to Manila about 16 to 17 years ago. We didn't manage to get things going then but now, when I have also met his top class sales team, I am more than convinced we have found our correct partner.’
The news sees Genelec joining a high-end stable of brands that already includes Funktion One, Allen & Heath, MC2, Sennheiser, Barco and Brahler, plus many more. With a 25-year track record in the Philippines market, StageCraft is widely considered one of the territory’s leading A/V suppliers.
Following the announcement of the agreement, Mr Zabala described it as ‘marking the beginning of an invaluable partnership. StageCraft is excited to embark on long-term collaborative efforts with Genelec in bringing innovative audio technologies to the country’.
