MALAYSIA: Salzbrenner Stagetec Mediagroup Asia has sold a Zenon Media radio automation system into the Universiti Malaysia Sabah’s (UMS) campus radio studio, and two DHD consoles into the BTP (Education TV) television studios in Kuala Lumpur.
The Zenon ‘all-in-one’ radio automation system, which can be applied to small radio stations or nationwide networks, provides an automatic failed switchover system and can interface multiple audio processor cards, which support asio drivers. The installation of the radio automation system aims to educate students at the university on the professional-level standard of automation systems used in broadcasting to prepare them for future careers in the industry.
The second sale from Stagetec was a DHD 52/RX 24 fader console and a DHD RM2200D 16 fader audio mixer to the BTP TV studios, instigating the studio’s upgrade and renovation.
Stagetec reports the 52/RX’s flexibility impressed the studio as it can be used in on-air studios, production suites, video postproduction, in OB vans, as a mixer system or as an audio router. The RM2200D is designed specifically for on-air use.
