Studer Asia Pacific sales to be led by Keith Prestidge

ASIA: Taking the title sales director, Asia Pacific, Keith Prestidge has joined Studer with a brief to grow the mixer brand’s activity within the Asia Pacific’s broadcasting and performance installation sectors. Mr Prestidge was formerly general manager of Klotz Digital Asia.
Now reporting to Adrian Curtis, Mr Prestidge – who will be based in Sydney – is a well known figure in the Asian pro audio industry having lived in the region for 15 years with a career spanning two decades. He started his professional life as a hands-on radio broadcast engineer while his experience encompasses project engineering and sales. In his new role he is expected to work closely with Studer applications engineer Tat Nam Yee, who is based in Kuala Lumpur.
Speaking during an initial bout of training in the UK and Switzerland, Mr Prestidge described himself as keen to get started in his position. ‘I’m enjoying a great introduction to the business and learning so much about the vast range of technologies developed across all the divisions of Harman,’ he explained. ‘I can’t wait to return home to start expanding our business.’
Andy Trott, vice president of Harman’s mixer, microphone and headphone business unit which comprises Soundcraft, Studer and AKG) added: ‘Keith is one of a number of highly talented professionals we are bringing into the business currently; with such exciting product plans road-mapped for the next five years we are now expanding our sales, marketing, R&D and service teams to capitalise on these developments – it’s a very exciting time to be working in the Mixer Group at Harman.’
