Sumber Ria provides for Old and New Gala dinner

INDONESIA: Sumber Ria Sound recently provided the audio equipment for the Old and New Gala dinner at Mulia Hotel, Jakarta. The New Year celebration event was simultaneously held at three different locations within the five star hotel, which saw singers Brian McKnight and Keith Martin perform in the establishment’s Grand Ballroom and Cascade Lounge.
Sumber Ria selected an Avid Profile system for the occasion, as the audio engineer requested custom plugin options. In total, three DiGiCo SD8s and two Avid consoles were utilised for FOH, whilst speakers from Meyer Sound and KV2 were selected for the ballroom and the lounge.
Speakers in the ballroom were camouflaged behind the decoration, and musicians used Shure PSM 900 in-ear monitors. Meyer Sound and KV2 speakers were also installed into the lobby so that all hotel guests were able to celebrate the countdown to midnight.
Hotel Mulia opened in 1997 and has over 1,000 rooms, various lounges and restaurants. The hotel plans to open a branch in Bali by the end of 2012.
