Sun Infonet holds Shure seminar in Mumbai

INDIA: Shure's Indian distributor Sun Infonet took advantage of the recent InfoComm India show to run a comprehensive seminar on the latest Shure conferencing solutions. Hosted by Shure Asia product marketing manager Stanley Wing Hong Chiu at the Orchid Hotel in Mumbai, almost 40 attendees were able to hear about the latest developments on the DIS DDS 5900 conference solutions as well as the brand’s MXW wireless conference products.

Sun Infonet director, Neeraj Chandra expressed his delight with the turnout: ‘Today we've seen a number of systems integrators and sound consultants – these are key people that really matter to us. They can see the latest products from the installed team. It’s a great timing coming at the end of InfoComm India and we’ve got really focused attendees in the room.

‘It doesn't just stop here though, we’ve got support teams that can give them the product to play with and in each of our regional offices the managers will be able to go back out after the seminars to the individuals and talk to them one to one,’ he added. ‘So it’s looking really positive; there’s so much technology customers want to know about. Over the long term this kind of event is really going to help us.’

Mumbai based consultant Claron D'Souza from iHD (India) explained why he appreciated the efforts of Sun Infonet to put such seminars on: ‘These things are very important, you have to have them, you have to be taught,’ he said. ‘Then when we go back to the office we can make more sense of it, and the “one to one” follow ups that Sun Infonet provides are very important. These products have so many features and sometimes you have limited time to go back to your client with a yes or a no, so having this information is vital.’
