Swapna relies on PalcoPlus for Kerala State Film Awards

INDIA: Kerala-based Swapna Sounds used the latest additions to its audio and lighting inventory at the recent Kerala State Film Awards. The rental company opted for its Montarbo PalcoPlus line array for the show.
Swapna Sounds used 20 PalcoPlus RA16 line source elements with 12 RAB1815 cardioid subwoofers. The cabinets were arranged in left-right hangs of 10 tops with six subs per side. All were powered by a Montarbo PLM6800 powered controller. Also used were eight Montarbo W17A with four Montarbo BX182A for the side fill of the stadium. The stage monitors and stage fills included four Montarbo M44A with six W440A, four W28A, with four Montarbo BX181A, respectively.
The FOH mixing engineer was Mr Tennyson, one of the leading mix engineers in Kerala, who used a digital Yamaha mixing console to manage almost 80 channels for the two bands’ orchestra.
The lighting equipment used includes 26 Atomic Beam 5R and eight JB-Lighting Vary Scan 7 along with number of generic lights and LED pars. The haze effects came from Le Maître effects.
