Tata Communications selects ScheduALL’s automation software

INDIA: Broadcast scheduling software specialist, ScheduALL, has announced the deployment of its Link solution into the Tata Communications’ video master control room (MRC) in Pune, India. The solution has reportedly resulted in the transformation of the service provider’s manual booking process to an automated system that includes bandwidth capacity management, conflict prevention, transmission validation and automated transmission path selection.

‘With the global expansion of our network, it was crucial to fully automate our fibre bookings and make our processes as efficient as possible,’ commented Tata Communications’ business development manager, media services, Richard Craig-McFeely. ‘ScheduALL’s Link system gave us instant inventory and conflict checking which supports our more efficient booking processes, allowing us to meet the complex service needs of our customers.’

Tata’s fibre network is one of the largest video networks in the world, connecting over 300 media hotspots across 125 cities globally.

‘We are honoured to be a part of Tata Communications’ world-class communications network, helping them realise new levels of efficiency with our smart technology,’ remarked ScheduALL president, Rick Legow. ‘ScheduALL automates the labour-intensive functions for Tata Communications such as slack capacity optimisation, reporting and invoicing, so they can instead concentrate on the big picture.’
