TC-Group promotes Helicon CEO to VP of business management

WORLD: TC Group has named Kevin Alexander, CEO of subsidiary TC-Helicon, as its new vice president of Business Management for MI and HD. The appointment is described by the group as ‘a further commitment to TC-Group's strategy of unifying the business and operations of its audio brands by market segments’.

The elevation was reportedly spurred by the recent departure of TC Electronic’s long-serving Uffe Kjems Hansen, who has left the company to pursue new opportunities. David Hilderman, COO of TC-Helicon, has taken over day-to-day responsibility for TC-Helicon.

Described as a ‘champion for the TC-Group brands’, Mr Alexander commented: ‘I've had the opportunity to be a part of many successful projects that spanned multiple companies within the group. It's exciting to take our growth to the next level by strengthening our cooperation in our MI and HD/Pro businesses’.

Anders Fauerskov, TC-Group managing director, added: ‘Each of our brands benefit unique customers, however there are overlaps in the segments in which we operate. Aligning our business practices in these segments gives us agility and more proven growth. Kevin's experience within the group can deliver that alignment.’
