Team 108 hosts two day Adamson Energia seminar

SINGAPORE: Adamson South East Asia distributor Team 108 recently hosted a two-day training seminar in Singapore, focusing on the manufacturer’s ongoing Project Energia. Taking place on August 29th and 30th, the event reportedly drew distributors, hire companies and engineers from Malaysia, China, Indonesia, Korea, Taiwan, the Philippines, and Australia. Both days were presented by Jesse Adamson, director of marketing and sales, alongside European applications engineer David Dohrmann.

Among the topics covered at the seminar were extensive technical presentations on Project Energia, the manufacturer’s Blueprint software, the T21 subwoofer and an early look at Adamson's new Coax series. Meanwhile on the second day attendees were able to get hands-on with a complete 24 cabinet E15 system plus companion T21 subs in an arena environment. The demonstration also included preset management and system alignment overview.

‘Project Energia is a groundbreaking approach to concert touring and when people see it for the first time, they are inevitably impressed,’ enthused Team 108's Kevin Nair. ‘The response from our region has been fantastic.’

Jesse Adamson added: ‘Sound engineers know how great a big PA will sound in the open air but proving how fast it goes up and how it will deliver in a harsh environment is what separates the modern touring system. We aimed to provide a real scenario for a large format system with both playback and multitrack options on a Digico SD11 console.’

Dates for further Project Energia seminars are expected to be announced in September and October.
