THAILAND: Ten years After Audio Co Ltd (TYAA) has purchased a large inventory of JBL’s flagship VTX line array alongside Crown I-Tech 1200 HD amplifiers in a deal described by the company as preparing for a busy 2013. The equipment was supplied by regional Harman Professional distributor Mahajak Development Co Ltd.
The purchase follows TYAA’s long-term adoption of JBL’s VerTec large-format sound reinforcement system, which the rental company has consistently deployed into the Thai market over the last eight years.
The new purchase comprises 36 VTX V25 cabinets plus 36 S28 subwoofers, 100 Crown I-Tech 12000 HD amplifiers and 33 Crown V-Racks. In addition, TYAA already holds 30 VerTec 4889 elements, 30 4880 cabinets, 100 STX 815s and 14 Crown 3500 HD amplifiers.
Following the purchase TYAA’s Chavalit Mahaviriyakul enthused: ‘Unquestionably it is a great honour for us to have this opportunity to employ world class audio systems for the benefit of our customers. We have confidence in the product and service of both Harman and Mahajak Development, so we decided to invest this year.’
Kasemsin Kanchanachayphoom, deputy managing director of Mahajak Development Co Ltd, was equally enthusiastic, adding: ‘We are delighted that TYAA has chosen JBL and Crown once again when upgrading their rental gear. TYAA is the most trusted rental company in Thailand. They are one of the few companies that are committed to the top quality of touring industries.’
