CHINA: Pro A/V distributor and service provider, Tico Digital Group, recently visited Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu and Guangzhou as part of its beyerdynamic roadshow. Welcoming over 600 guests across all four cities, the focus of the visits was the manufacturer’s latest conference systems.
A wide range of topics were reportedly presented in addition to product demonstrations, including a speech by Tico product engineer, Tony Cai, on choosing a suitable conference system. The latest additions to beyerdynamic’s Quinta wireless and Orbis wired conference systems were also introduced.
Tico Digital Group described the safety and functionality of the Orbis conference system as well as its design and discreet integration into furnishings. Particular emphasis was reportedly given to the different microphone units and the flexibility afforded by the vertical microphone array with patented Revoluto technology. The Quinta presentation was focussed on the Quinta handheld transmitter and the microphone units with voting functionality.
As part of a microphone comparison, visitors were invited to interact with different microphones and gain user experience. Models included the Classis GM 305S, Classis GM 304, Classis BM34 with BMR, MPC 65 and MPR 210.
The sessions concluded with a speech from Tico product manager, Annie Zhou, who introduced Tico’s own Zhituo solution. The system is compatible with beyerdynamic’s gooseneck, boundary and Revoluto microphones.
