Total Korea adds to JBL inventory

KOREA: PA rental company Total Korea has purchased a JBL VTX system from the country’s recently-appointed Harman distributor, TechData. The new system, comprising 48 VTX V25 cabinets, 24 V20s, 24 S28s and 12 S25s, joins the VerTec rig in the company’s inventory.
Total Korea will be using its new system for a 200,000-person mass for Pope Francis’ visit in August, and the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2014 Asian Games at the Incheon Asiad Main Stadium in September and October respectively.
‘VTX has a good reputation in the industry, and I chose what I considered to be the best available system,’ said company director Shin Jae. ‘We are a long-time user of JBL, and have chosen to stay with the brand for our latest inventory update.’
