Training video series launched for Lyon
Published: ASIA
WORLD: Meyer Sound has released a series of four training videos for its Lyon linear sound reinforcement system, covering topics ranging from system design and rigging to optimisation. The videos are intended to compliment the manufacturer’s already substantial education program, which includes in-person seminars and online resources for all aspects of sound reinforcement.
The first video, named Lyon Product Introduction, serves as an overview of the system, outlining coverage patterns, rigging features, connections, and integration with the 1100-LFC and Galileo Callisto. Next is Lyon Array Assembly, a step-by-step tutorial for pre-setting splay angles, lifting and locking an array, and pullback techniques. It also shows the rigging calculator features of MAPP Online XT. The third video is called Lyon Compass Presets and Controls, and demonstrates the user workflow for optimizing a Lyon array. Finally, Using Array Correction and Delay Integration illustrates the use of array processing and correction and delay integration for Meyer line array systems.
All four videos are currently available on the Meyer Sound website.
