TSB Productions acquires Turbosound Milan enclosures

SINGAPORE: In an effort to increase its portable stock, Singapore-based rental house TSB Productions Pte Ltd has purchased 16 Turbosound Milan 15 loudspeakers, with owner Ted Singh describing them as ‘versatile, great sounding, and plug and play’.
Having been established in 2007, Productions Pte Ltd has quickly grown its business supplying audio and lighting equipment for corporate events, weddings and launches. The company’s principle PA system remains an EAW KF740 line array with SB2001 subwoofers powered by Powersoft K series amplifiers. However, recognising the need to supply an increasing number of smaller events, Mr Singh opted for the Turbosound enclosures. The 500W rated, 15-inch wedges can be pole mounted or stacked and weigh 18kg.
In addition, TSB has increased its inventory of microphones by ordering many Audix models from Pro Aktiv Systems. Included are i5 handhelds, OM3s, OM5s, F2 instrument mics, MGN20 goosenecks and D2 percussion models in addition to a DP7 drum kit case. ‘Not only are they extremely rugged, but they are great for vocals and instruments offering superb clarity. Once again, they’re plug and play and you don’t need to EQ them,’ Mr Singh enthused.
TSB has also invested in over 10km of Klotz ais microphone, multicore and lighting cabling in recent months. ‘They’re all terminated with Neutrik connectors and are flexible, reliable and rugged. In terms of price-performance, they cannot be bettered,’ Mr Singh declared.
