Turbosound is first and only choice for 10 Lounge

INDIA: Hyderabad’s 10 Lounge nightclub has benefitted from a recent Turbosound installation. Turbosound’s Indian distributor Narain Proaudio Lighting Pvt, having already completed four venues for the popular club chain in Raipur, Jabalpur, and Bhopal, designed and installed the system into the ‘up-market’ venue, known affectionately as 10D by its regulars.
The club, which is aimed at a young and high-energy clientele, required a Turbosound rig that would deliver high sound pressure levels at all frequencies. Mr Oswin, the man behind Hyderabad-based rental company Hangar 18 Entertainment, was instrumental in the design and tuning of the club’s system, suggesting a combination of models from Turbosound’s TCS contracting series and the TXD series.
A total of four TCS-122 switchable passive/bi-amp two-way loudspeakers and two TCS-B218 subwoofers power the dance floor. Meanwhile, four TXD-12M passive two-way wedge monitors, four TCS-081 full range two-way loudspeakers, and two TXD-215 subs are used as fills. Additionally, two power distribution racks are each equipped with two TXD-12M monitors and one TXD-115 sub.
‘Turbosound was the first and only choice for the install,’ asserted Mr Oswin. ‘With 10 Lounge planned to be the best club in the country, I specifically advised Turbosound's TCS series of loudspeakers, whose crisp tonal quality was vitally important. We’ve being using Aspect TA-500t three-ways as part of our live rental inventory and their performance has been flawless,’ he concluded.
‘The sound and light install is definitely of international standards’, said DJ Rafsy. After performing at the venue, DJ Jorn Van Deynhoven concurred: ‘The audio tonal quality is fantastic – even when playing at really high levels,’ he enthused.
10 Lounge is described as ‘the destination of choice for the elite’, and caters to a ‘fashionable, yet unpretentious clientele’.
