Vardhaman partners with Sennheiser for RF masterclass

INDIA: A/V rental chain Vardhaman Mega Tech has collaborated with Sennheiser to provide an RF masterclass exploring tips and tricks for microphone placement in live shows as well as detailing efficient set up procedures for a variety of difficult situations. Attended by more than 60 professionals, mainly audio rental companies spread throughout the region, the session was held in Bangalore and was conducted by Sennheiser India’s vice president of customer support, Suman Thakurur.

Sennheiser’s G3 series, XS wireless and evolution wired microphones were used throughout the two-day event. Topics covered during the session included learning about the intricacies of sound, such as microphone polar patterns, wireless squelch level settings, and antenna and booster settings.

One fact discovered during the masterclass revealed that as much as 70 per cent of people purchase audio products based on word of mouth recommendations, highlighting the importance of engaging and educating users in sessions such as these.
