Winsound takes on Midas, Klark Teknik and Turbosound in Greater China

CHINA: Guangzhou Winsound AV Technology Co Ltd has been named as the general agent in Greater China for Music Group brands Midas, Klark Teknik and Turbosound. The deal – covering mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau – was recently sealed as Graham Rowlands, vice president of global sales for the Music Group, presented a commemorative plaque to Winsound general manager Chan Jiayu.
Based in the Panyu district of Guangzhou, Winsound was established in 2013. Following the announcement, Mr Jiayu described his company’s relationship with the Music Group as ‘a great honour’, adding: ‘These front line brands have been recognised and favoured by the market. We will further improve our service and open the market to provide comprehensive solutions to our clients’.
Graham Rowlands was equally enthusiastic. ‘Although Winsound is quite new in the industry, the team is richly experienced in market management and has mature selling channels. The Music Group will give its full support to Winsound’s work in promoting our brands and we believe this will be a strong cooperation, further pushing our development in the Chinese audio market.’
Following the presentation, the new partners co-hosted a seminar to introduce products including the M32 and Pro X from Midas, and the Venue, Madrid and Prague ranges from Turbosound. Winsound is also planning to exhibit all three brands at the forthcoming Shanghai Pro Light & Sound exhibition in October.
