Wisycom appoints PAT exclusive Australian distributor

AUSTRALIA: Wisycom, a manufacturer of RF solutions for radio microphones, has partnered with Professional Audio & Television (PAT) to distribute its products exclusively throughout Australia. The manufacturer’s equipment spans the entire Australian frequency spectrum, ensuring compatibility following January’s changeover. The partnership was preceded by discussions earlier this year at IBC in Amsterdam and again in Sydney in October.
‘Wisycom have been shaking up the market in Europe and the US in the past years and simply out-performed much larger and more established manufacturers,’ stated Patrick Salloch, managing director of Professional Audio & Television. ‘PAT is very excited to provide the Australian market with this outstanding European product family that Wisycom offers.’

The manufacturer’s solutions were used by Gearhouse Broadcast to great acclaim recently at the V8 Broadcast in Gold Coast. ‘We have conducted extensive testing of the Wisycom technology during our recent broadcast of the V8's at the Gold Coast and we were very impressed with the technology,’ stated Garth Wiencke, Geahouse broadcast operations manager.
