Wohler's Andy Stanton to lecture on Confidence Monitoring at ABU DBS in Malaysia

MALAYSIA: Wohler Technologies has announced that Andy Stanton, director of business development for Wohler APAC, will present Wohler, MPEG, ASI, SDI, SDI-HD, and File-Based Confidence at the ABU Digital Broadcasting Symposium (DBS), which runs from March 4-7 at the Hotel Istana in Kuala Lumpur. Scheduled for 2pm on March 6, Stanton's presentation will examine how MPEG-encoded content can be monitored most effectively and efficiently within modern media facilities.
Stanton will examine the requirements of delivering multiple channels of content via ASI signals and IP structures and then move on to discuss technologies, including the MPEG Series video monitoring line from Wohler. He also will look at how, when programs are multiplexed into a single stream, such monitoring solutions help broadcast, DTH, and telco operators detect technical errors and prevent them from propagating across the bouquet of signals within the stream.
