Wuhan YinTian Technical Co Ltd tackles WTCC multimedia hall

CHINA: Wuhan YinTian Technical Co Ltd recently applied its services to a new multimedia hall at the Wuhan Technical College of Communications in China. The Ministry of Education and Ministry of Finance of Hubei Province described the WTCC as an authorised ‘exemplary higher vocational college.'

The new 813 sq-m hall is a multi-functional room that was designed for conventions, conferences, academic seminars and for student literary and arts activities. As such, the client required a ‘flexible and high quality’ audio and video system.

Wuhan YinTian Technical Co Ltd completed the project in approximately two months, and worked hard to ‘control the echo, reverb and any harmful sound dissemination’. In addition to the A/V system, the team also selected the material for the ceilings, floors, walls, as well as choosing all desks and chairs for the space.

After testing and comparing numerous products, Zhong Xiang Zhou, Wuhan YinTian Technical Co Ltd’s chief engineer and his team chose HH Electronics loudspeakers used in conjunction with Mackie Onyx 32-4 mixers and Ashly Audio digital signal processors.

The audio system for the hall comprises four HH VRE-215s active PA units as the main loudspeakers, six HH TRE-115 extension speakers, and four HH TNS-118 subwoofers. The stage was also equipped with speaker outlets in order to facilitate an easy installation. A number of HH Electronics’ SR2000 and Scalar SR900 power amplifiers power the system.

Immediately after the project was finished, the system was put to use for a national literary arts performance and an award ceremony for a local organisation. After witnessing the system’s performance, the executives in the college, audio experts and students reportedly praised the ‘impressive performance’ of the audio.

‘HH products are not only good quality, but the way they focus on performance makes them so reliable,’ said Zhong Xiang Zhou, the chief engineer of Wuhan YinTian Technical Co Ltd. ‘They made the efforts of our team worthwhile,’ he concluded.
