Xavtel joins the AVnu Alliance

WORLD: Xavtel Communications has joined the AVnu Alliance – the industry body dedicated to promoting open standards for A/V based networking – as a Promoter member. Aided by the alliance, the manufacturer aims to create ‘easy to integrate products’ without compromising on quality or flexibility.
‘We are in the process of starting our certification and hope to be ready to show our first certified hardware very soon, which will be another milestone for Xavtel – to be able to provide next generation audio, video and conferencing solutions to our customers,’ said Romano M Cunsolo, director of marketing and business development worldwide for Xavtel. ‘With our A/V platform “MIRA” we are already able to stream audio and video simultaneously over our 1Gbit Xavnet protocol with extremely low latency using our own codec, so the adoption process to the AVB standard should not take too long.’
