Xtreme bars extend Indian franchise with help from E&E

INDIA: Electronics and Engineering (E&E) has recently provided sound systems for two new Xtreme sports bars that have opened in Bangalore, both of which were installed by AV Sense.
At the new Xtreme bar in central Cunningham Road, a system of four Community 1296 installation speakers and two Community Sonus 215S subwoofers has been installed into the third floor bar, while an EAW 2124 provides outdoor sound on the same level. On the fourth floor, where the restaurant is located, another four EAW 2124s make up the system.
The systems are driven by a mixture of Ashly KLR-4000, KLR-3200 and KLR-2000 amps and controlled by an LA Audio DLX260 DSP system processor. There is also a Pioneer DJM-800 DJ mixer and two Pioneer CDJ-900 CD decks on the bar level.
‘We wanted to create a bar lounge and got in touch with E&E to help us out,’ says owner Vishal Mehra. ‘The quality of sound was very important for us and we’re very happy with the finished result. All our customers who come here really appreciate the good sound too.’
Meanwhile, the Xtreme Indiranagar branch has been installed with two Community Veris 8 and four Veris 1296 speakers with two Sonus 215S subs, driven by an Ashly KLR2000 amp. There is also a Denon DN4500 CD DJ deck.
In the same building, AV Sense has installed Rewind with four Community Veris 8 speakers and two Sonus 215S subs on the third floor with four EAW2124s on an outside terrace at the same level. The systems are driven by Ashly KLR-4000 and KLR-3200 amps and controlled by an Ashly Audio Protea DSP, while a Pioneer DJM-800 DJ mixer and Pioneer CDJ-900 CD decks provide the tunes. Again, the technology was supplied by E&E.
