40 Kong opens in Beirut

LEBANON: The Beirut branch of rooftop bar, 40 Kong, has followed the example set by its Dubai sister venue and opened with a sound system from Italian manufacturer Architettura Sonora. As in Dubai, the project was handled by 21dB.
Forming the new rooftop bar for the Four Seasons hotel in Beirut, 40 Kong offers the same relaxed atmosphere and impressive views as the Dubai venue. The Beirut office of 21dB initially became involved to first run a sound testing exercise on the roof of the hotel. This helped to determine the audio distribution across the venue and to specify the positioning of the speakers and directional subwoofers for low frequency control.
Following this, 21dB recommended a system comprising 14 Architettura Sonora Small Helmet speakers which have been installed around the perimeter of the venue. Low end is catered for with seven of the manufacturer’s directional subs.
