Adamson signs with Thomsun

UAE: Thomsun Trading has become the official distributor for Adamson Systems in the UAE. The relationship became official at the recent Palme Show in Dubai.
‘We have always been active in the professional audio and the live industry, and we always believed in acquiring a good sound system and good solution to go with the other products that we have, such as Yamaha for the consoles,’ said Thomsun general manager Biju Thomas. ‘With Adamson being a very important product and brand for the high-end line array and live market as well as high-end installations, we believe it will be a good product for us to distribute.’
The new distributor will be taking ‘a very hands-on’ approach to its new brand and intends to work closely with the UAE’s rental industry. ‘Since this is a solution that needs a lot of direct support and direct involvement, after the initial period of training our technical team can give a lot of expertise to the industry,’ stated Mr Thomas. ‘It’s something that can add to the already large live market and its related products.’
‘We have discussed distribution with Thomsun when working together on past projects,’ added the manufacturer’s VP and director of marketing and sales, Jesse Adamson. ‘The timing was now right and both Adamson and Thomsun agree that there is a great fit for our companies.
