Adja Pekkan performs with K-Array

TURKEY: Superstar singer Adja Pekkan relied on equipment from K-Array for a charity performance at Istanbul’s Rahmi M Koç Museum. Rental company, Park Technical Production, supplied the equipment for the performance.

The performance was in aid of a children’s welfare foundation and attracted 700 guests to the venue. The audience was seated around dining tables in the museum’s vintage car room. To cover this space, three K-Array KR202 systems were put to use. According to Oktay Karasoglu, president of K-Array’s local distributor Lotus Teknoloji, each system comprised of two modules as a vertical line array with a KL18 sub for low end.

Park arranged these systems with one each to cover the sides and the third to cover the front. Additionally there were a series of two-channel K12 cabinets and 12-inch woofers which were used as side fills for the musicians on stage.

For the concert, the stage was managed by Abbas Akkaya while Yilmaz Yeniyol was the FOH sound engineer.
