AKG signs with Audiosure

SOUTH AFRICA: Johannesburg-based distributor, Audiosure, has been named as the new distributor of Harman Professional’s AKG. The microphone brand joins the likes of Allen & Heath, Martin Audio, XTA, MC², Samson and Wharfedale Pro on the distributor’s roster.
Audiosure’s general manager, Alison Taman, stated that the new addition comes at a time when the distributor is entering a growth phase, specifically in the high-end market. ‘We have been greatly encouraged by the initial reaction from our dealer base and the impressive demand for the products that we have experienced in just the first month of having the agency, including from customers that in some cases we hadn’t had dealings with before. We are very proud and excited to represent the AKG Professional brand.
