Al-Majlis opts for Etere

KUWAIT: The National State Assembly of Kuwait’s television channel, Al-Majlis, has opted for solutions from Etere to manage its playout and MAM systems. The broadcaster has selected the manufacturer’s Executive Scheduling, Workflow, Automation, Media Management, Ingest, CAL, STMan and Master Control systems.
According to the manufacturer, selecting its Executive Scheduling tool empowers Al-Majlis to make ‘strategic broadcast programming decisions with advanced planning’. Likewise the STMan graphics processor ensures Al-Majlis is able to incorporate broadcast of complex graphics with data extraction from scheduling and Media Asset Management databases.
Etere’s installation at Al-Majlis also interfaces with a Matrox board, an Imagine Communications Platinum router and a Grass Valley router as the manufacturer’s solutions are reportedly able to support third-party integrations with full interoperability and flexibility.
