Arista Networks joins Avnu Alliance

WORLD: Arista Networks has been announced as the newest member of the AVnu Alliance. As a member of the Alliance, Arista plans to have its AVB networking product lines certified to help foster an open and interoperable standard within the industry.

‘Arista is thrilled to become a member of AVnu Alliance the only organisation that is driving open, standards-based A/V networking via Ethernet,’ said Ed Chapman, vice president of business development and alliance for Arista. ‘With the backing of AVnu, we hope to spread the implementation of AVB as a next generation solution for the A/V industry by leveraging our best of breed switches and low-cost Ethernet economics.’
