Artes invests in Neutrik

UAE: Neutrik’s GCC distributor Nicolas Kyvernitis Electronics Enterprises (NMK) has recently supplied Dubai-based rental company Artes with OpticalCON drums to meet its video department’s requirements. Used for DVI to fibre extenders, Artes will use the new purchase to send fibre video signals required over long distances for its various corporate shows and concerts in the United Arab Emirates.
The OpticalCON fiber reels are available in different lengths with varying levels of channels and protection. Artes’ order included 300m of X-TREME multimode fibre on drums terminated with Neutrik’s connectors. The X-TREME cable offers cut-proof and rodent resistant double jacket glass yarn armoured cable construction.
‘The feedback from Artes has been extremely positive, they have ordered another 100m since their initial purchase,’ commented Pavel Aheunin, Neutrik sales specialist at NMK. ‘Whether the application is audio, lighting or video - transporting signal over fibre is becoming more and more possible in the live market due to Neutrik’s OpticalCON range which can both protect and provide consistent results.’
