Atempo hosts d&b and Midas training

TURKEY: Atempo’s Istanbul office recently hosted a training event covering the use of Midas consoles and d&b audiotechnik loudspeakers. The training was held at the premisis of Galatasaray ITM.
Training on the equipment was presented to two classes of 30 students. The first was for amateurs with the second being for professionals. The sessions covered audio, acoustics, d&b’s line array technology and Midas’ mixing consoles.
There was also a competition element to the sessions. An exam followed the training, and the top 15 students then competed by mixing the same song in their own way using the installed d&b and Midas systems at the Drama Stage of the Zorlu Centre PSM.
Following this, two winners from the professional session received a trip to the Midas and d&b facilities for manufacturer training funded by Atempo while the amateur winner received a discount scholarship from the company for next year.
