AVI-SPL implements Shure wireless in Qatar project

QATAR: Nicolas Kyvernitis Electronics Enterprises (NMK), has recently supplied Dubai-based systems integration firm AVI-SPL with Shure wireless microphone systems for a project in Qatar.
The deal includes receivers and transmitters from Shure’s UHF-R series. AVI-SPL has purchased four sets of the new UR4D+ receiver, which allows it to cascade up to 10 units without the use of an antenna distribution system.
The UHF-R series is described by the manufacturer as its ‘most powerful and flexible wireless system to date’. The system has been designed for the high pressure and extreme conditions of any large-scale touring or installation environment.
‘AVI-SPL are a well-known A/V systems integration company in the US, and they have expanded their presence in the Middle East with a dedicated office in Dubai,’ commented Shajahan K K, Shure product manager at NMK. ‘Already we have seen them complete a number of prestigious projects around the region using products from Shure.’
