Avid appoints Mathieu Rouxel as live sound manager for emerging markets

UAE: Avid has appointed Mathieu Rouxel as live sound manager for emerging markets, a role which will see Mr Rouxel covering Africa, the Middle East, Russia, CIS and the Indian sub-continent.
The role will see Mr Rouxel lead the Venue live sound business bringing in his varied industry experience in not only live sound but also studio environments. For over 10 years he has worked with artists such as famous French singers Michel Fugain and Caliin TV shows such as Taratata and OneShotNot and also included a stint with the Digidesign dealer in Paris in his career. He decided to move to Dubai in 2010 and has been working as a freelance mixing engineer for live shows with various artists and companies and also worked on studio projects while in the Middle East.
He will be working closely with Nadiyam Ravisankar who has been recently promoted to pro audio sales manager for emerging markets at Avid.
