Avid appoints three new partners

MEA: Avid has appointed three new partners to take on various sections of its portfolio in Turkey, Nigeria and South Africa.
In Turkey, Radikal Ltd has signed an agreement to sell its professional audio product range. ‘In alignment with the Avid market strategy, we are glad to appoint Radikal Ltd. Sti. as our dealer in Turkey for Avid’s pro audio product line comprising the award winning Avid Pro Tools HD series interfaces, Pro Tools|HD Native, Pro Tools|HDX, and the Avid Pro Mixing Series family,’ said Nadiyam Ravisankar, audio sales manager for emerging markets at Avid. ‘We look forward to building on the existing client base and adding more users who will benefit from ready stock and professional pre/post-sales support that Avid is known for.’
‘We always felt that the Avid pro audio product range has been the missing last part of the puzzle in completing Radikal’s strong presence in the industry,’ added Sarp Yelkencioglu, managing director at Radikal. ‘Now, as a pro audio partner of Avid in Turkey, Radikal will be much better empowered to serve its customers.’
In Nigeria the manufacturer has appointed ET Quake Multimedia to distribute its Venue live sound product range. ‘We are excited about our new alliance with ET Quake Multimedia,’ said Mathieu Rouxel, territory account manager pro audio for Africa and the Middle East at Avid. ‘The region spanning East Africa is one of growing importance and the post and pro audio markets here are developing rapidly. ET-Quake Multimedia has the right strategies and is well positioned to support the Venue brand. We are glad to be able to strengthen our relationship and will continue to work closely together to offer complete solutions to the customers in the pro audio segment.’

As part of our marketing strategy, we have created and launched our very own Venue demo room in our Abuja office. This will aid training, demos, seminars and give hands-on experience for both experienced and intending Venue operators.’
Finally, Avid has added Segma to its roster in South Africa. The new partner will distribute Avid’s pro audio product portfolio in the country and has already seen success with Pro Tools HD Native in the local film industry.
