Avid offers edit training in Dubai

UAE: Avid is offering its Inside the Edit with Paddy Bird training session at the American University of Dubai (AUD) in Media City on Monday December 15th. The hour-long session at AUD starts at 5pm.
In partnership with Avid, Inside the Edit is a creative editing course for prime time level television that concentrates on the art of editing instead of the technical side of software. Founder and prolific documentary and entertainment editor, Paddy Bird, will present an in-depth masterclass covering subjects such as: the craft of high end broadcast editing, how a professional editor approaches a scene, what do they look for when constructing a sequence? And what is the thought process behind every decision on their timeline?
The session will highlight concepts, theories and techniques used in the pro world all demonstrated on Avid Media Composer.
