Beirut Blackmagic Design and Avid workshop

LEBANON: Blackmagic Design, Avid, MediaCast, Electra AV and Omni Systems have teamed up to host a workshop in Beirut. The event will provide participants with the opportunity to see Media Composer, Blackmagic cameras, DaVinci Resolve and Pro Tools in one workflow.

The workshop takes place at the Hilton Habtoor Grand Hotel in Beirut on Thursday May 15th between 8.30am and 5pm. It will discuss postproduction workflows for story making, grading and sound design with the aim of showing how the manufacturers’ latest solutions can help users simplify production and accelerate workflows.

Through a series of demonstrations, attendees will see how to accelerate high-res and file-based workflows with Blackmagic cameras, Media Composer, DaVinci Resolve and ProTools 11. They will also see the Blackmagic Production Camera, the all new Studio Camera, Cinema Camera and Pocket Cinema Camera in action. Added to this there will be sessions on shooting and grading in 4K, round trip workflow with Media Composer and DaVinci Resolve, as well as using offline bounce, expanded metering, and other features in Pro Tools 11, playing and editing HD video in the Pro Tools timeline and real time, remote collaboration with Media Composer and Interplay.
